This role is responsible for developing and coordinating the planning, execution, maintenance, and accessibility of all HH Group owned and generated content & content related services in order to achieve brand recall in association with business success; business turnaround track record, strong corporate governance and human capital.
Responsibilitie(s):
- 1. Public Relations
- Implement an integrated media strategy to engage with and shape audience perception of our brands across all stakeholder level
- Shape public perception of the brand through content creation such as press releases, interviews, etc; media monitoring and media engagement
- Engage local and regional ranking authorities - 2. Content Writing & Management
- Prepare a long term plan for content development, including standards and guidelines based on HH’s strategic business goals
- Create and execute a content audit plan to ensure content data (online and offline) is current and accurate
- Oversee and manage the content presented on HH Group alongside working with a cross-departmental team to maintain & develop the master content calendar
- Place op eds, memos, newsletters and other communication tools on globally ranked media channels to promote the brand to specific audiences
- Draft engaging articles using SEO guidelines to optimise content for the website - 3. Media Relations & Media Management
- Create initiatives to increase our engagement with leading regional and global journalists, platforms and media community to keep them engaged and involved, and increase our media allies - 4. Internal Communications
- engage internal audience through a variety of initiatives to keep them informed, engaged and involved
- Manage the Internal Newsletter ensuring groupwide participation - 5. Quality Assurance
- Manage the editorial and quality assurance process with internal & external content creators
- Ensure consistent look and feel by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, templates and layout; create templates to assist content consistency
- Develop, implement and enforce content policy, procedures, standards and its appropriate use - 6. Digital Media / Email Marketing
- Influence perceptions strategically within the online community to build affinity, bridging external communications to the group. (Directing emails, request/complaints and general messages from the online space to the appropriate channels within the group)
- Ensure content is shared daily on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook; Track analytics on media channels after events
- Refer traffic from social media platforms to website and ensure that all websites, Wikipedia pages are monitored, maintained and updated
- Plan, optimise, implement and analyse organic search engine marketing activities - 7. Media Monitoring
- Monitor traditional media channels to highlight positive sentiment and tackle crisis as it happens
- Scan for media leads that advise on new trends and developments that affect the group brands
Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):
- BSc in Journalism/Mass Communication/ Marketing/ Media
- 3-4 years experience functioning in the described responsibilities OR in a similar role within a PR/Marketing Agency
- Digital Media Marketing Skills
