Responsibilitie(s):

• • Develop and coordinate the implementation of the strategies, plans, policies and procedures
  for procurement and requirements of the plant to deliver the target benefits and financial
  savings.
  • Liaise with the warehouse and logistics department, ensuring alignment of goals and
  objectives in the purchasing of materials and equipments
  • Develop and maintain an operating manual of procurement policies and procedures and
  ensures compliance with the policies.
  • Source and manage vendors to ensure their performance conforms with agreed contractual
  obligations.
  • Develop a supply base capable of responding to the changing needs of the Company and
  supporting renegotiation of existing supply arrangements, including new Service Level
  Agreements (SLAs)
  • Conduct value for money analysis for goods and services required by the plant including
  quotation exercises and alternative sourcing arrangements to identify improvement areas
  that will reduce overall costs for the business.

Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):

• • First Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Social Sciences, Management, Business
  Administration, or related discipline.
  • Masters or an MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in similar role with at least 3 years in a supervisory
  position
  • Membership of relevant Professional bodies e.g. Chartered Institute of Procurement and
