The Head Instrumental and Control will be responsible for the designing, development, installation, managing/or maintaining equipment used to monitor and control the plant units operations.
Responsibilitie(s):
- • Overall responsibility for the monitoring of all field instrumentation devices to ensure smooth
running of the gas fired power plant.
• Responsible for the maintenance of Allen Bradley RS Logic 5000, BBC Decontik – ABB
Procontrol P14 and TM2500 Woodward control system.
• Proper predictive planning and calibration of instrumentation devices.
• Knowledge of different Instrumentation and controls architecture.
• Good knowledge of PLC code development and repairs of printed circuit board.
• Ability to install control cabinet and cabling.
• Thorough knowledge of hardware and software interactions.
Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):
- • Minimum of First degree in Engineering.
• Relevant professional membership is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in a similar environment.
• Very good understanding of power plant functionality .
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control techniques and software.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
