Responsibilitie(s):

• • Initiate and coordinate the implementation of approved departmental strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Support with local journey management policy and procedure
  • Prepare annual budget and plan for the department and monitor implementation.
  • Oversee all civil works and constructions on the plant and other plant property.
  • Ensure that the power plant has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
  • Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to benchmark vendors quote.
  • Undertake routine inspections of the site including daily maintenance checks.
  • Ensure the efficiency of the refrigeration & AC systems, heating, and lighting systems throughout the premises, diagnose problems, and provide lasting solutions.
  • Undertake and document a termly risk assessment of the whole plant and other risk assessments / health and safety checks as suggested by the Health & Safety Manager.
  • Manage refuse and recycling procedures in line with best practice.

Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):

• • Minimum of first degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field is required.
  • MBA or Masters in a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in a Senior role
