The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships to advance the Foundation’s objectives. It will involve identifying and securing funding opportunities, managing donor relationships, leading proposal development, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support entrepreneurial initiatives across Africa.
Responsibilitie(s):
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities to support the TEF's programs and initiatives.
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with TEF policies.
- Develop high-quality proposals, concept notes, and grant applications to secure funding.
- Work closely with program teams to gather necessary information for proposal development and reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for donors and stakeholders, detailing program impact and financial accountability.
- Ensure effective and efficient management of all donor accounts, including timely submission of reports and audits.
- Maintain regular communication with donors, providing updates on program progress and impact.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence policy changes that support entrepreneurship in Africa.
- Engage with policymakers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to promote the TEF's mission and objectives.
- Collaborate with research institutions to conduct studies on barriers and enablers of entrepreneurship in Africa.
- Promote the philosophy of Africapitalism, highlighting the role of the private sector in driving economic and social development in Africa.
- Develop and disseminate content related to Africapitalism through various channels, including social media, reports, and events.
Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):
- First Degree
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles across Technology and Innovation, corporate sector, experience in varied African markets, and TEFs.
