Responsibilitie(s):

• - To carry out patient consultation which entails detailed history taking and examination with the recommendation of appropriate investigation and the review of all these with the purpose of prescribing relevant effective and efficacious medication.
  - To perform ward –rounds on in-patients to the same end described above.
  - Liaise with pharmacy to ensure that drugs are prescribed in a timely manner to prevent drug expiration.
  - To lead the healthcare team, comprised of nurses, laboratory scientist in the process or carrying out health related activities.
  - To ensure patients’ prescriptions are filled out extensively on Misas electronically
  - Proper documentation of details of all procedures and treatments carried out on patients
  - Carrying out pre-employment exercise on clients and health education and record findings on templates as apply to the different organizations
  - Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned by the constituted authority
