Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting operations, supporting investment and treasury reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance across the family office portfolio and related entities.

Responsibilitie(s):

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and reconciliations for the family office and related entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Monitor cash and bank balances, and liquidity positions across accounts and short-term investment.
  • Provide support for accounting and financial reporting across a diverse range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private investments, and others.
  • Perform reconciliations of investment statements with custodians, banks, and portfolio managers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payments, invoices, and reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Support treasury operations, including fund transfers, management of banking relationships, and payment scheduling
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, investment managers, and external service providers.
  • Provide financial recommendations to support decision-making across the family office portfolio and related entities.

Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ACA/ACCA is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 4–7 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within family offices, investment firms, financial services, private wealth environments, or professional services firms.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, treasury operations, and investment accounting.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Experience managing multi-entity accounting and financial reporting is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
